Warranty Coverage: Acefour Accessories Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” and their respective connotations) provides warranty only to the first purchaser or gift recipient (“you” and “your” and their respective connotations) of the travel gear and accessories (“Product(s)”), the duration of which is specified on hand tag of a Product or on the Company’s website (“Warranty Period”).
Defects and Damages: In the unlikely event that a problem occurs with your Product within the Warranty Period as a result of any defect in materials or workmanship, or a manufacturing defect (collectively, “Covered Defects”), we will, at our discretion, replace / repair it, in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated herein. Please note that we do not provide any warranty against damage caused to your Product by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, damage by pets, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme conditions, solvents, acids, prolonged and/or unusual exposure to water, normal wear and tear, wrinkles on soft luggage, digital print, vegan lather trimmings, Airline Damages (stated below), colour peeling and fading over time.
Airline Damages: If any damage is caused to your Product during transit, such damage will not be covered under the Product’s warranty and will not be considered a Covered Defect for the purposes of this Policy. Any claim for such damages will have to be made against the airline authority or relevant transportation authority responsible for such damage, and you shall not, under any circumstances whatsoever, make any claim against the Company for such Airline Damages.
Service Centres: Repairs to your Product under warranty must be performed by an approved Company customer service centre (“Service Centre(s)”). Any repairs by unauthorized agents will render any future warranty claim for a Product as null and void. For the purpose of this policy, “Service Centre” is included in the definition of the “Company”.
Global Warranty: Our global warranty ensures coverage for various scenarios outlined below:
- Damage to Accessories: If any of the part of a Product, such as the wheels, side and top pick-up handles, telescopic handle, or lock, incur any Covered Defects within the Warranty Period, we will promptly ship the necessary part/s to you. Additionally, we provide detailed video instructions to assist you in fixing the issue.
- Crack to Shell: In the rare occurrence of a Product’s shell cracking, we offer replacement services within India, in any Service Centres, if we are satisfied that the same has occurred on account of any Covered Defects.
- Issue with Zipper/Stitching: Should there be any issues with the zipper, or the stitching of a Product, we offer repair services for such issues exclusively within India, in any Service Centres, upon satisfaction that the issue has occurred as a result of any Covered Defects.
How to Claim Global Warranty: In order to claim global warranty hereunder, you are required to share proof of international travel details, with complete address and other necessary details, including but not limited to the details of the Product for which the warranty is being claimed, the issue with the Product, and the E-warranty certificate or the original GST purchase receipt of the Product, with the Company’s customer care at customercare@uppercase.co.in.
Repair or Replacement: The Company will reasonably determine whether or not the problem/issue concerning the Product is a Covered Defect. If it is determined by the Company that a Product contains a Covered Defect, the Company may cover the costs of repair or replacement and return of the Product.
Product Availability: If the Company determines that a Product requires replacement, but the Product is no longer available with the Company, the Company may substitute such unavailable Product with a comparable Product, and the only liability on you is to pay any price difference between the unavailable Product and the comparable Product, if any.
If you are given a lower-cost Product as a replacement, we will provide a coupon code to you of an amount equivalent to the price difference between the defective Product and the lower-cost Product given to you as a replacement. This coupon code can be used by you for future purchases on our platform.
Limited Warranty Value: The warranty provided hereunder is limited to the value of the Product, and only valid for the Warranty Period. Covered Defect specifications are subject to change by the Company, without any notice.
Non-Warranty Repairs: If any Product is not covered under warranty hereunder, any repairs and associated costs related to such Product’s will be at your expense.
Locks TSA/NonTSA: Product locks are designed to prevent accidental opening but may not necessarily prevent theft, breakage, or unauthorized access.
Legal Disclaimer: Any disputes arising out of the applicability/usage of this policy is subject to Indian laws, and the courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to govern any dispute that may arise as a result of this policy or its interpretation.
Limitation of Liability: The Company’s liability under this policy is limited to the purchase price of a Product. This means that the Company's monetary responsibility hereunder is capped at the actual amount paid by you for a Product (including any discounts or offers).
Responsibility for Delays: The Company, its dealers, and representatives will not be held responsible for any delays in the repair or replacement of Products. Delays may occur due to exceptional circumstances or the non-availability of spare parts or alternate Products.
Right to Amend Terms: The Company reserves the right to amend, alter, or modify the terms of this policy, at its sole discretion. Any changes to this policy will be updated and made available on the Company’s website, from time to time.
This policy provides clarity on warranty terms and conditions, Product care, and your responsibilities in relation to the Products.
Note: The warranty may be revoked by the Company, at its sole discretion. The warranty terms may differ for the corporate and bulk orders, and may be shared separately with you, when you place such an order with the Company.
